The ethereal nature of lens flares is such that they do not exist tangibly nor without the almost arcane science of a camera's frame. The narrow confluence of elements which produces natural sun flares predicates that capturing a moon flare be even more so.

Such an esoteric enigma . . the long exposure for a moment had me thinking it sun with heavy cloud haze and filters, but no . . The moon is so softly haloed almost melting above the dark silhouette of tree-rimmed ridge and such a vast expanse of sky above .. .and a small mysterious sphere caught in the heavens to the upper left . . .
